September: Stay With the Game, Grab a Whistle

Throughout September, Laredo Basketball Officials launched a special initiative highlighting the stories, experiences, and perspectives of basketball officials within our community.

Discover the World of Officiating

Our goal is to give others a closer look at what basketball officiating is all about. From what first inspires someone to pick up a whistle to the opportunities for growth, development, and connection that come with being an official.

Throughout the initiative, officials shared their personal journeys, experiences on the court, and what officiating has meant to them both within and beyond the game.

Hear From Our Officials

You can find our September Initiative features across our Instagram and Facebook pages. Hear directly from local officials, learn about their journeys, and discover what makes officiating such a unique way to stay involved with the game of basketball.
